Watercolor Trio: Card #1
My next few posts will feature a variety of cards I made using the new Watercolor Trio stamp set. I couldn't put this set down, and made 6 different cards in one day! It is so versatile and comes with several beautiful greetings in an elegant font. Click on any picture to enlarge:

This first card is my own design. I started by stamping Whisper White cardstock using Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Silver Encore Ink. After stamping, I ran this layer through the Big Shot using one of SU's Texturz Plates for a subtle floral background. The Eyelet Border Punch was used to create a pretty edge, and I added an additional layer of Certainly Celery, also punched with the Eyelet Border. The greeting was stamped in Rich Razzleberry Ink, punched with the Large Oval, and mounted on a scrap of So Saffron that was punched with the Scallop Oval. The card base is So Saffron, cut at 4 1/4" x 6 1/2", scored at 5 1/2" and torn for a shabby chic look. I also added some So Saffron Ink on the torn edge, and two silver brads hold the Whisper White and So Saffron layers together, while the Certainly Celery layer referred to earlier hides the brad prongs! This is one of several designs I made for a team meeting, and even though it was the simplest one, these were the first swap cards to go!

Very "delicate"-looking. Beautifully done!
